+ The Events Manager works hand in hand with the company owner, Mia Natalia, and is responsible for all activities related to the organizations in-person events & experiences inside the Ascend Mastermind.
+ As Events Manager, my role is to take the best possible care of our clients and be available to help our clients have the best experience before, during and after our events.
Your Specific Responsibilities Will Include:
+ Check-in with clients to make sure flights and hotels/airbnbs are booked
+ Be available for any client questions pertaining to the event.
+ Propose event venues, hotels, and culinary experience
For example: complete contracts, invoicing and collection of fees, establish group numbers, costs, programming needs, housekeeping, dining, dietary needs, set ups, etc.
+ Create an event itinerary with time cadences/estimates
+ Purchase necessary event materials
+ Support venue team in executing the company's events/experiences
+ Seek out 1-3 brand partnerships/sponsors for our experiences
+ Hosts an experience meeting with the team to double-check the speakers and team know the time transitions
+ Keeps time at the events
+ Make sure our client gifts are in excellence, source, package and give our clients individual gifts
+ Is available to attend all events and experiences
+ Available in-person at the events/experiences
+ Quarterbacks the itinerary and event experience
+ Propose event dates / times / locations / and fee
+ Develop and implement promotional strategies. For example: prepare mailings, make follow up contacts with potential groups, maintain ongoing contact with current groups. Maintain a current list of potential and current rental groups
Skills and Qualifications
+ Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be a party of confidential information.
+ A proven team player and cultural fit, who strengthens the current team and grows it as strategy warrants.
+ An exceptional work ethic. A highly detailed driver who uses time productively, maximizes efficiency, and meets challenging work goals.
+ 2 years’ experience minimum as an events manager
+ Mac knowledge and excellence
+ Must be extremely detailed and highly organized
+ Must be willing to travel with Mia Natalia to events
+ Very good at planning and prioritizing deadlines on multiple projects
+ Flexible, adaptable and patient
+ Problem solving and strong analytical skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Must work quickly, accurately and have a strong sense of urgency
+ Works well under pressure with frequent interruptions
